This weekend I had my 9 year old niece and 5 year old nephew. I am 39 with no kids and I am going to be a single Mom by choice. Would the stress of having them this weekend bring on a rash on my neck? Or is it heat or even a bug bite with no apparent “bite.” Always wondering about all the new things that are going on with my body!!

It’s hard to tell… have your doctor check it.
My son showed up with a rash when I was 3 weeks pregnant (didn’t even know I was pregnant yet) and I took him to the doctor to find out what it was. It was Fifths disease, which is harmful for pregnant women. I had symptoms as well (achy joints and light rash on my inner arms), so I’m sure I contracted it as well.
I don’t want to scare you… it’s probably just heat rash you have. Have you used any new products (lotions, soaps, perfumes)? Does it itch? Are there raised welts? Describe it all to your OB/GYN and they’ll determine whether you need to have it looked at. Better to be safe than sorry. Good luck!
I went through the same thing around the beginning of my pregnancy, I developed a horrible rash on my neck & chest, its just due to increased hormone levels, and them being at their all time high the first trimester only makes it worse! Though if it doesnt start clearing up in a week or so, or seems to be getting worse, i’d put in a call to your doc. Hope everything works out for you!!
