My six year old daughter woke up with a rash on her face and chest that has now spread to her arms, legs, and butt. It is raised a bit off the skin. She has no fever, no other symptoms. I had thought that perhaps she was alergic to something, but I would have thought that it would have went away by now. It has been two days. She is not bothered by it at all. Sometimes the color is a bright vivid red, and sometimes it seems to have almost disappeared. Any one have a clue?? Any advice??? HELP

Sounds like it could be a mild form of measles or an allergic reaction to something.
Go to webmd.com and see what they have to offer. You should be able to look up the symptoms there and find out what it is.
It could be parvovirus aka fifth disease. It is basically a virus…it runs it course. It is more common in kids but adults can get it too. I know in my area (new england) several kids and adults have had it. It can be checked with a blood test, but since it is a virus there is no need for antibiotics. An anti-hystamine can help with itching. It should be gone within 10 days.
Another possibility is an allergic reaction to something she ate…or soaps or detergents that are too harsh. Hope it goes away soon.
