my rotti who is almost 2 years old, constantly rubs herself on the carpet to itch herself, and she has kinda like a rash on her genital area…it doesn’t seem to bother her too much other then it itching, but part of it at the opening is redish and looks like it would actually burn to pee…is there anything i could put on it?

NO! thevet can give her a shot….She is going in to SEASON… Keep her inside unless you want puppies
sounds like she gets yeast infections, just like women do. get her to the vet for a check up. It could just be allergies, but the vet will best advise you. Do not treat it yourself, as it could make things worse.
Well, if it’s not her going in to heat…I would say she might have an infection…either way, a vet visit is warrented.
take ur dog to the vet who would prescribe a a spray and i beleive something for itching and get your dog one of those head things i dont know the name but i got one for my dog so he couldnt scratch so that would allow the spot to heal. He was bumping into everything but he couldnt scratch himself and so he healed.
could also be allergies. i also have a female dog who has that not only down there but on other various parts of her body where she chews or irritates it. I would bring her to the vet to find out for sure and whether that is the problem or not the vet should be able to prescribe some sort of medication.
If she’s not coming into heat sounds like an infection. She needs to go to the vet. My female Lab use to have that happen to her and she was spayed. I got her some cranberry pills from the health store and gave her one everyday and it really stopped it. A holistic vet told me to do that and it really worked. All the best;^)
Walmart has a Hydrocortisone spray for dogs in the pet section that works great.
Often it is a rash caused by an allergy to flea bites – or just plain old mosquito bites.
Ask your vet if you can give her Benadryl to help…. just make sure to add a teaspoon of cooking oil to her food every couple of days so she doesn’t get constipated from the benadryl.
My Chows get these rashes every time the weather warms up and the summer bugs come out to play.

Triple antibiotic for open wounds
Drain her anal glands to see if that helps the rubbing behavior.
Also worm her.
And if she licks her feet too, try some benadryl. It might be allergies.
