i have had a rash almost every day, that occurs on different places all over my body and itches like crazy! my scalp even itches! It has been going on for about 7 months now! I also got a welt on my back tonight from itching!
I need to go to the doctor, but should I go to an allergist or dermatologist?

Go to dermatologist…derma means skin.
Dermatologist, they’ll run a scratch test on you and see if it really is an allergy, it sounds like eczema to me.
I’d recommend a dermatologist first to rule out any serious conditions which the allergist may not recognize.
I think you should firstly go to an allergist who would perform a skin test to see what you are allergic to as this sounds like you are allergic to something you come into contact everyday.
The skin test is not painful, they put the allergens on your skin and then scrape the skin and let it set then wait 10-15 mins and if you have an allergic reaction then a small rash will form at the site where the allergen was put on your skin
Consult with a general physician/or skin specialist,-its a minor problem-it may be happened due to your diet habit or foods -that your body does not permit–Don`t be worried-Take anti allergent medicine and use Laoto calamime lotion or skin cream as per the advice of your doctor after bath, to make your body cool and avoid scraching.
It sounds like exzema to me. I have had it all my life. It helps to have a fan and humidifier in your room. Don’t wear polyester either only cotton fabrics! Watch what kind of detergent you are using on clothes use non scented. Watch what lotions you are using dont use scented same thing with perfume! Being in cold areas helps. If your hands itch stick them in the freezer for a little bit! Good luck!
