For most of my life, I really havent taken care of my skin because I didn’t like to show it anyway, but with weight loss, skin care is critical to preventing loose skin. One of my goals for next summer is to be in good enough shape to wear tanks, and so another problem I have to deal with is keratosis pilaris (little bumpy red dots at the hair follicles) that I have on my upper arms and shoulders. Its a genetic problem that many people have and there is no cure. I think that full spectrum light from the sun will help immensely and the products I am using now are to get me to the point where I can wear a tank in public and in the sun without too much embarrassment so that the sun can take care of it from there.

you are very handsome
@700moby thanks
@aineyangel Thanks Áine!
I really appreciate all the support you give me. Yes, my arms, its a small victory in reality, but to me, because I had it for so long and didnt know what it was or what to do about it, the fact that I’m now beating it is putting a spring in my step. I really hope I can wear tanks next summer. It would be a first for me.
i was so excited when i saw the title!
so interesting!
there is a huge improvement on your arms,
kudos!

i love following you on your journey

@mysteryguest1948 No problem Ruthie
Your skin will shrink, but you have to be patient with it unfortunately. Doing my best to lose the fat, keep the lean, and speed up the process with exfoliation and moisterizing, I’m happy with how its shrinking so far, but theres still a long way to go. Thanks so much for your support!
Thanks for the info and review on these products! I have a lot of loose skin and just started doing the strength training. I’m hoping that will help. Thank you for your continued videos – I always enjoy watching
Keep up the amazing work!
@TheUnbreakableOne Well I dont use anything but water on my face either. In that laundry list, there’s only two that apply to loose skin, and that is the exfoliating gloves and the lac-hydrin moisterizer and I only apply those to the problem areas (not my face). Its lazyness and its being cynical about that kind of shit, and you wont get any disagreement from me about either one of those, but I am determined to get all the benefits of weight loss and that includes good toned skin with no surgery
@reinventingEd Thanks Ed! I hope that the lac-hydrin works for you as well as it seems to work for me. I dont have very sensitive skin, so I’m not usually in the habit of applying after-shave, but as we go into the dryer winter months, thats when I start to have problems in that department. I’ll check to see if that product is available around here. Thanks for the tip!
I can’t even tell you the last time I washed my face with anything but water, much less used all those products, but I hope it continues to work out for you!
Maybe I’m just too lazy.
great tips. I’m going to try the Lac-hydrin. You didn’t mention any after shave products, personally I like to use Nivea Post Shave Balm. I find it makes my skin feel so much better. it heals damaged skin, and does not sting like most after shave products.
